Mike VoznickMike Voznick began his career in advertising, media, marketing and business world following his 3-year enlistment in the United State Army. Mike’s career spans over 4-decades, and as he tells it---never was there a day in the journey that wasn’t filled with challenges, fun, and lots of excitement.
Over the course of 4-decades, Mike owned and operated his own advertising agency that he later sold to a multi-national Madison Avenue Agency (Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon and Eckhart) where he served as SVP Management Supervisor on several national brands. During his stint with Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon and Eckhart, Mike lead the agency’s effort in assisting Florida’s Commissioner of Education, Ralph Turlington bring about the Florida Lottery. Following overwhelming approval by the voters in The Sunshine State and subsequent enabling legislation, Mike was Management on the Florida Lottery account for 5-years. Following relocation to Atlanta, Georgia, Mike was recruited by Initiative Media – North America---a highly regarded national media management company, where he served as Special Assistant to the President and Chief Operating Officer – Carolyn F. Bivens, who subsequently became Commissioner of the Ladies Professional Golf Association. Mike took early retirement from corporate America and since then has been an independent business consultant assisting business large and small fine tune marketing efforts and streaming company financials. “It’s very rewarding to help the management of a company see themselves from a 30,000 foot view, something they can’t often do on the ground---it’s the forest for the trees”, he says. “What I do is give management a “fresh eyes” look at their business from top-to-bottom---those who embrace the process tend to flourish---those who don’t, well sadly they tend to continue to languish in their efforts”, he added. Mike continues to be a student of business, and he says, “the day that there are no more questions is a day that he hopes will never come”. “When I am finished at the end of a day, and I recap the events and activities of the day, if I determine I didn’t learn something new, then I wasn’t the student I hold myself to be”, he concluded. |
